I love writing

What do you enjoy most about writing?

The thing I love most about writing, is the fact that it helps me mentally prepare for whatever I may be writing about. Writing helps to resolve any leftover conflicts I may be feeling about something. I feel as if, I can help someone going through the same things I may be going through, which also helps me. I love writing because it helps me day things that I usually can’t or won’t say out loud. These are just some of the things I live most about writing.

The beauty In My Surroundings

What do you love about where you live?

Anyone can see that there is beauty here, sometimes we just have to open our eyes.

The cost of living may be higher but there is something majestic about waking up and seeing mountains a few miles away.
The trails, waterfalls and all the beautiful places around it’s hard not to love.

It’s easy to miss the beauty of everyday life it all depends on what someone is focused on. Focus on something positive. Find the beauty in everyday life. I think it’s important to stop the cycle of negativity and be positive about where life has one’s life, in order to make things better, we have to think better.

The road ahead can be scary, but do not fear.

Walk in faith and believe life is what you want it to be no matter where you live, there’s always going to be negative, and positive circumstances. What are you focusing on, the good or the bad.

Used to much

What is a word you feel that too many people use?

The word I really do not care for is a boring four letter word. It is used wrong more than I care to mention and some use it more than once in a sentence. The word I could do without hearing more times than not, is like.

I dislike the word when it is used wrong, and when it is used to much. I can not stand it and I actually think it can be contagious when heard over and over. I am not trying to pick on anyone, just pointing out a word used to much.

Can you think of anyone that over uses this word?

Life through someone else’s eyes.

Daily writing prompt
Write about a random act of kindness you’ve done for someone.

It is sometimes important to consider one’s life through someone else’s eyes. It is important to step out of our own comfort zone and not just see things from our own perspective, but to consider others and not to just see things from one side there are always others variables or conditions that we may not quite understand. I’m reminded of a number on the floor and a man on each side arguing either it’s a 6 or a 9 to each man in their mind they are correct because of their point of view. What each of them failed to realize is that from the other man’s perspective they are correct.

So many times in life, it seems, as it is more important, to be right, than to take a step back and see there is a bigger picture. It is easier to get angry and argue our own point or vantage, than to take a step back and realize it’s not important to be right all the time what’s more important is to be there for those that need us. If we are to busy looking for flaws, or reasons to tell others they are wrong we may be missing the fact that we are needed.

So what does all this have to do with a act of kindness? It is important because instead of taking a step back and looking at things differently we are acting just like the rest of the world. Don’t give into the flesh and argue, show sympathy to those that are always angry, and have to be right. Someone may be going through other things that may not be on the surface. So basically In this act of kindness, is to just shut up and let them have their moment.

The morale of the story is that, with there being, so much division today, what does it hurt to let someone else have a small victory. If it keeps peace, and prevents a big argument, sometimes that means the greatest, act of kindness, we can give to them, in that moment, is for us to not say a word.

So I want to challenge each person reading to try and see things through someone else’s eyes the next time someone tries to argue with you instead of proving you may be right try to look deeper and agree to look at the picture from their perspective. If you can learn to do this then, you my friend, can show an act of kindness that many others are not capable of.
